Projects / Latest Websites
The following websites are my latest projects, for more site examples, click links to the left. I'm starting to lose count, but I've designed and/or programmed around 105 websites including redesigns. The following sites are all tableless CSS and some in XHTML.
Small E-Commerce
Site live on June 3rd '08 and coded Strict XHTML and tableless CSS. The cart is powered by Yahoo. Special focus placed on implementing all Web development techniques for search engine ranking for specific keywords... the free methods!
Arts Event
Interface design for main pages to align with printed catalog design utilizing CSS & XHTML. Programming by colleague.
Art Business
Launched on June 26th, this site is coded in Strict XHTML and tableless CSS. Fun project which consisted of prototyping design, content writing, dynamic photo gallery installation and calendar integration.
Festival Website II
A mini version of the site just went live in May '08. It is far from being complete and just waiting for content to come my way. The website is coded in Strict XHTML and tableless CSS. Projects include design for the text version of the logo, and custom icons. The top screenshot is what is live currently and the bottom image is the first prototype that we'll never get to see come to life... thought I'd throw it in 'cuz it looks pretty!
Textile Arts Studio Website
This site was recently recoded into tableless CSS and strict XHTML, and design element improvements — namely the navigational menu at the top designed using CSS, using HTML text instead of images, and a new favicon. The original site was first designed in 2006 which included prototyping design, content recommendations, and copy editing.
Gallery Website
Launched on April 28th, this site is coded in Strict XHTML and tableless CSS. Fun project which consisted of prototyping design, content recommendations and custom digital art for the header. The Directions page has an associated, custom style sheet so that it's printer-friendly.
Senior Home Care
Launched on May 1st, this Web page is coded in Strict XHTML and tableless CSS. This one-pager was whipped up in a few hours for some fast online exposure per client, and case study to see how quickly this keyword-heavy site will be "spidered" for a specific phrase (UPDATE: was spidered 6 days later and #1 in Google for a specific phrase). I'm forseeing this one-pager to grow into a website over the next year.
Artist's Website
This site is the 3rd redesign (my 2nd) and coded in XHTML and tableless CSS. The client provided PDF layouts which I translated into a website, and digital enhanced logo graphic.
Arts Council Website
Site coded in XHTML and tableless CSS. Development included information architecture of 65 pages, content recomendations, copy writing and editing, custom digital graphics, prototyping design, and adhere to color branding scheme. Software implemented including a content management system and message board. Other projects include e-newsletter design and production and program development for general online advertising, Artist Registry and Resource Directory. This site is on it's 3rd redesign, and the 2nd one I've redesigned. Click here for archived 2.5.
Home Inspection Website
Project recently redesigned (version 2) and recoded in XHTML / CSS, and content tweaked for search engine ranking. Client is in top 5 in Google for primary keywords. An entire identity package was created for client including logo, business card and brochure design. Other projects included marketing photography and minor content editing.
Mortgage Company Website
This site is on it's 3rd redesign since 1999 and recently recoded in HTML 4.01 transitional and tableless CSS. Other projects include digital photo editing and websites designed for three rental properties.
