Sonnet Canopy

Star torn skies
in the Valley of the last standing Oaks
reflect the love in our eyes
rushing water over rocks
pounding like a heartbeat
Is it me, is it you?
A moonlit sky burns
this backdrop into our memory
your face like Porcelain
in the wake of the moon
lips like open cuts
bleeding our souls into one
creeping midnight glade crawls across an old stone bridge
to our hidden crossroad abode

Their Own World

Travel to mother's special corner
Bridge between two planes of existence
Spoken flow through veins beside them
Chill broken by connection
Raven's claw canopy
Fairy dusted universe and their shooting star
Illuminated by heaven's grandmother
As she reveals under night's blanket
two unbound and free spirits
nothing can touch them
never forgotten language
mystical inconceivable dream
enveloped in a spiraling galaxy
planted beneath an ancient oak tree
