Epilog

When I leave this world behind
what will they write upon my headstone
Will they say that I had sadness in my eyes
or will they say I was a good father
Will I have given more than I've taken
or just take my anger to the grave
Will I leave my wife behind
to mourn me till she joins me
or will she say I took her for granted
Fifteen minutes of fame
can't say what 28 words can say
when written in marble
Walking thru the graveyard
I can feel as if I've
lived 1,000 lives or more
"I guess I just want
to leave this place forgiving
all I could, giving all
I should and caring
deeply for all those
that shared life with me"
