A Day in the Life
If you're able to be born and
not aborted for the havoc you might
bring to the career of today's woman.
There is a 50/50 chance you'll have both
a father and a mother to care for you.
The life you live as a child is not so
innocent and pure as they make it seem.
Many are molested and abused by the
hands of those who claim to love them.
As if adolescents isn't hard enough,
drugs, date rape, and the dream of
gangs and violence stun our youth
If you are married,
50% chance you'll not be and,
30% chance you'll live in poverty through middle age.
The chances are great that heart attacks and stress will kill you
if not the robbers, thieves rapists and murderers.
If you raise your children right, they won't sue you and
if disease doesn't inhabit you're body,
you just might see your grandchildren.
See the age of fire.
If you're kids are able to support you or,
you've saved money and not lost it through
carelessness or greed you might not have
to spend your final days in a place where
you sit in a chair full of your own feces
waiting for a CNA to change your diaper.
And you're looking at 60/40 odds that
you'll never have a visitor.
This is why it's easy to see that life's
not all it's cracked up to be.
There must be more than meets the eye.
There must be too many who've failed
to draw nigh to the love and justice that
sees beyond the life of deception we're
all accustomed ourselves to.
Who, What, Where, When, Why?
Hope, Love, and Peace.
What does this culture offer but
death and debt?
